What is the Battle Matchup tool for?
Both armies here are identical and hidden — the troop tier you pick, same size, no stat bonuses — so you can set the formations you expect an enemy to defend and attack with, press Get battle plans, and see the split that counters each one. Change the tier or a formation and the plans are marked outdated until you update them. The tool fights every infantry/cavalry/archer split in 5% steps until one side is wiped out and suggests the one that wins while losing the fewest troops. The page address always holds what you calculated, so you can share it and it opens with the same plans.
